Ordering your bound thesis is quick and easy, and you can do it from the comfort of your home, even if you're in Milan, Rome, or on the other side of Italy. We'll guide you step by step.
1. CHOOSE YOUR COVER
Browse our collections and choose the material and color that best represent you — fabric, grained faux leather, smooth, silk effect, velvet... you'll be spoiled for choice. On the cover page, also choose:
- Paperweight — how thick and high-quality you want it to be
- Printing mode — black and white only or in color
- Printing sides — single-sided or double-sided
- Number of copies
Add the cover to your cart and you're done. If you want multiple copies with covers of different colors or materials, add them one by one — the print parameters will automatically be copied identical to the first choice, so all copies will come out identical in quality. You will only need to choose the cover color, the print color on the cover, and the number of copies.
2. UPLOAD YOUR THESIS
Once you have all the covers in your cart, you will be redirected to the "Upload your thesis" page. Here you can upload your thesis PDF file — the system will automatically analyze the pages and tell you how many are black and white and how many are in color. Completely blank pages will not be counted; you only pay for what you print!
You have the option to manually correct the result: for example, if you have a page with only a colored link that you prefer to print in B/W, just click on it and it will convert. The quote updates in real time.
Do you have the cover as a separate file? No problem — after uploading your thesis, you will be asked if you want to add the cover file as well. That file will reach us separately and we will use it to print your custom cover.
3. DIFFERENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS? NO PROBLEM
If you have multiple versions of your thesis — for example, one with acknowledgements for your supervisor and one for family and friends — you can upload them all. The system will ask you how many files you have, analyze them one at a time, and for each one you can specify:
- How many copies you want of that file
- Which cover you want it inserted into
The final quote will sum the printing cost of each file plus the cost of the covers. All transparent, no surprises.
4. SUMMARY AND PAYMENT
After uploading all files, you will see the complete quote with details for each copy. If everything is correct, click on "Proceed to payment" and choose whether to pick up in-store in Bologna or have the thesis delivered directly to your home.
For shipping, we work with reliable couriers — the thesis is prepared within 24 hours and arrives in 1-2 business days.
⚠️ IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION ⚠️
The option to upload multiple files is intended exclusively for those who have different versions of the same thesis—for example, with personalized acknowledgements for different people. It is not possible to use this function to print the theses of multiple different people while taking advantage of the tiered discount on copies.
